CPM content
The CPM content has been divided into the following 8 Project Life Cycle phases: Conceptualize, Plan, Organize, Implement, Control, Integrate, Deliver and lastly Knowledge Leverage which runs across all the Life Cycle phases.

Each phase is sub-divided into 29 Knowledge Domains and the Knowledge Domains are further broken up into 85 Concepts which form the basic building blocks of the learning programme.

These Concepts cover key aspects of a project and provide persons with the knowledge and skills to:

Conceptualize – understand the project’s need, the different Stakeholder’s requirements from the project and developing the project’s Business case (feasibility report).

Plan - define the total scope of work properly, plan the Time, Cost and Scope, how to make networks, Critical Path analysis, learn how to make more accurate estimates, plan the project's Quality and the Communication requirements

Organize – organize how and who will do the work, external and internal interfaces, build effective teams, identify the roles and responsibilities of different team members.

Implement – execute the work, resolve all issues that come up, procure the required goods and services

Control – monitor and control the work to ensure it is progressing as planned, undertake quality control, take required corrective actions, manage all changes efficiently, motivate and empower the team, resolve conflicts and all issues, manage information and reports.

Integrate – coordinate and integrate all the work done to deliver the final outputs, ensure that it conforms to requirements

Deliver – complete and handover the work, close-out the contracts if any

Knowledge leverage – review the project to learn lessons from the work done for future improvements.
